Random Pictures of kids

( Sorry this picture if sideways) Kaleb took a powder doughnut outside and when he came back in, I wasn't sure if his face had dirt or powder (from the doughnut) on it. It was so funny.
This picture was taken the day after his aunt Julie came to visit. We had bought doughnuts for breakfast because Julie had stopped in on the way home from her cruise (with her friends). Well...he knew that there were doughnuts left over and he went and got one and sat under the table because he did not want anyone to see him eating it (sneaky child....it runs in the family...cousin Elijah)
This is a picture of the kids using the cute towels that their Aunt Julie made. Kaleb is suppose to be a lion (also holds a uniqueness to a clown)...haha just kidding julie. Alex's towel has cute princess designs on it. Tristan's towel is a bear. It was going to be a monkey but Julie lost the material for the tail...so it became a new animal. We love Julie and her sewing abilities. She saved me because we only had one duckie towel and Tristan and Kaleb would literally jump out of the shower with soap still on their bodies to be the one to use the duckie towel. Thank you Julie!!!!

Saturday Trip to the Duck Pond with Cousins

Happy Easter!

Cousin Andrew's 3rd Birthday Party

Tristan says, "I have the Golden Ticket!" Each person had to have a ticket to get a balloon.
See my doggie! (There was a balloon girl at the party)
There was a pinata and Andrew didn't want to let anyone else swing the bat. Mandy (his mom) is struggling with him to take the bat away. It was actually funny! (when it's not your kid)
This is Mandy having a discussion with Andrew about taking turns. (Look at Mandy's pouty lips and Andrew's hands on his hips. I got the perfect shot.)
Alex is taking her turn on the pinata. They made her go last since she is on a softball team.

A magician came to the party. He was giving Andrew his own magic wand.
Tristan was a helper from the audience. He had to stick his hand in the bag to make sure it was empty.
Next, they gave him a wand and they told him not to break it. As soon as the magician lets go of the wand it bends in half. (he did this over and over...everyone was laughing. You should have seen Tristan's face when the magician said not to break it and then it bent in half as soon as the magician let go of it.)
Alex was a helper from the audience also. He was doing a magic trick with quarters. He made quarters come out of her ears, mouth, foot, etc.... it was fun!

New Countertops!!!!

These are our old countertops (the tile with the horrible grout).
They had to rip the counter tops off (obviously) and disconnect our stove. Our sink was in the backyard for a couple of days.

Still under construction. The whole job only took 1 1/2 days. It was great!!

I love the new countertops!!! I am very happy (all except they chipped my sink and we are trying to get them to compensate us). We are getting our floors done also...very soon. We will post those pictures too. Since we never have any visitors from out of state (come see us)...this is how we have to show off some of our new improvements!!!

Alex's 9th Birthday!!

Alex celebrated her family birthday party with her cousin Andrew. Alex turned 9 and Andrew turned 3. For her friends party...she picked 5 friends and we took them to dinner at Red Robin and then to Spiderwick Chronicles. Most of her friends were freaking out, but not Alex. The movie did not scare her at all! She loved it!!! It was alot of fun!!!!

Alex and Andrew are blowing out the candles. Alex is hoping that Andrew is not going to spit all over the cake. Alex wanted an icecream cake. It was mmm mmmm good!!! We bought Alex a computer for her birthday. She is a wiz on computers. She can do powerpoints!! Her teacher is all about technology and she loves it. You name it and she could probably do it on the computer or at least figure it out.
This is her reaction to getting a computer. She was jumping up and down yelling!!!!!

(Sorry...you have to look at this picture sideways) She got the book series for the Spiderwick Chronicles (the movie we went and saw for her birthday) She got this from her Grandma Becky.
Alex takes after her mom!! We both love purses!!! Her aunt Courtney (her aunt Mandy's sister) bought this for her!! (and some girl scout cookies were inside)

Alex loves to read. Alex got more books for her birthday. Her aunt Mandy gave her some books. Alex loved her birthday. Her Grandma Jo sent some money and she can't wait to go and spend it!!!
