And the Puking Continues!

I need an exterminator to come in and get rid of all the bad germs!!! 3:30 in the morning I hear, "MOM!" I jumped up and ran into the boys room. Kaleb has puked all over his bed and PJ's. Ahhhhh! I changed his clothes and sheets. Then went down stairs and got a barf pan for him. Tuked him back into bed and left both of our doors open....just incase.

He slept through the night. No more throwing up.....until the morning.....and it continues! Jason stayed home with him so that I could go to work and Tristan went to school. Alex went to school and she is afraid that it is going to hit her next.

My good friend (who teaches kindergarten also), Kristine, was so sweet and said that she would dismiss my class for me so that I could go home and play mommy. I started feeling icky about 12:00 anyway.

So I called Jason on the way home and he said that he was soooo glad that I was coming home because Now.....he has it full blow!!! The throwing up and the runs!!! He can't be a good caretaker if his head is in the toilet also. He said that he was thinking about calling me earlier and asking me to come home to take care of him and Kaleb. Kaleb's hasn't thrown up as much as Tristan and I did, however he had alot coming out the other end. So...I have been running around my house with Clorox wipes and hand sanitizer...cleaning everything!!!!

Who will be the next to be attacked? Alex is the only one who hasn't had it yet......
This is the worse time of the school year for me to be out....we have a million different tests to be giving our students before the end of the school year!! I need a miracle!!!!! Keep our family in your prayers!!!!!

Our Not So Great Weekend!

Friday:
It all started on Friday...we were at the Sock Hop and I got a call from Jay saying that Kaleb had fallen at McDonalds and he was bleeding all over and he didn't know if he needed stictches....so we left to go home and check it out. We couldn't tell through the hair...but we made the decision that he was fine. So we go to yogurt and we are eating inside, when Grace, Alex's friend yells out..."I thought you were on a diet!" Gee thanks Grace for announcing that to the yogurt shop (that part was just embarrasing...Grace if your reading this....don't worry....I still love you)

Saturday:
We were at Kaleb's soccer game and before the game starts he falls and hurts his finger....he refuses to move it or bend it...even while he is playing I could see him babying that finger on the feild. It started to swell and bruise....I thought he had broken it...but eventually we decided he just jammed his finger. Onto the next kid....we are going to Costco. Tristan keeps telling us he doesn't feel good...so we tell him to drink some water...maybe too much sun. We stop at the gas station and barf...barf....barf.....all over himself and Jason's truck!! He wasn't very happy with that. We clean him up...he says he feels okay to go to the store...we get to the store and he barfs...barfs....barfs all infront of Costco. Then we go into the store and he barfs....barfs.....barfs in the pharmacy trash can. The pharmacy people are so nice they give us this barf bag for him...Thank goodness because he barfs again in the bag....when we pulled up in the driveway. From that time on....Tristan throws up every 5-10 minutes (I started timming it). He can't keep anything down. When he had thrown up 16 times I began to lose count. He also had the runs...how fun for him and me. I was going to go to the ER but he finally fell asleep and I slept downstairs with him (on an air mattress) just in case. I coughed the whole night with my own cold.

Sunday:
We wake up and Tristan is still nauseated but still has the runs (he went through a number of pairs of underwear...by accident! I told him he wasn't aloud to toot unless he was sitting ont he toilet...just incase). About 7 am....guess who starts throwing up....Yep...me! Jay was sick too...he never threw up....but had the other end of it. We were such good parents on Sunday. We both layed on the couch or the air mattress (Tristan too) and let the kids ransack the cupboards. Kaleb: "mom, I'm hungry" Mom: "go get something out of the cupboard" Kaleb: "can I eat cookies?" Mom: "Sure, eat anything you can reach and want". What a bad day!!! At least Kaleb and Alex are not sick.

Monday:
Still not feeling well! Kept Kaleb home too because I don't want to have to leave the house to take him and pick him up from school. I know, I know...how lazy! Thats right! Ya gotta do what ya gotta do! Alex went to school (that is because she is a big girl to get herself ready and walk across the street to her friends house to catch her ride). Anyway, we are hoping for a better day tomorrow! Cross your fingers!

Sock Hop and swimming!

Okay, so Alex had a Sock Hop at her school. The pictures are going to be out of order...sorry! This picture is on the way out the door. Both of them were soooo cute!! I escorted them to the Sock Hop and it was really fun to watch them get crazy and dance!
Alex and Grace infront of a classic car...outside of the school.

Here is a picture of Alex and her teacher, Mr. Rosensteel. Her teacher won the dance contest! Good job, Mr. Rosensteel!!!
Here is some of her friends at the sock hop. Alex was waiting in line to buy some cotton candy.

Here is a full shot of their outfits...sorry it is a little blurry.
This one is a little more in focus. (Kennedy, Alex, and Grace)

While they were dancing the DJ said for the kids to show him their ugly face.
Here is them dancing in the crowd. The pictures are blurry. The lighting kept making everything go fuzzy....it was weird.
This was her Charlies Angels pose. The DJ would randomly tell them to pose...it was cute.
Here was the Disco pose....can you see her in the middle.
Here is Grace....before we left....before she was all sweaty from dancing. Cute outfit!
Same for Alex....before the sweat! The scarf around her neck is from my Grandma Stratford...she is no longer with us...so Alex was excited to be able to wear something of hers. She loved the scarf so much that after the dance we went to yogurt and when she changed....she kept the scarf on...how cute is that....she even tried to wear it to bed.
The skirt was made by Julie and my mom when Julie was in elementary. It was sooo exciting when she got to wear it. Doesn't she look beautiful!!
A full shot of their outfits....together!
We went swimming the other day and Alex jumped into the pool and look at what a great picture this is!!!

Tristan is learning to swim across the pool...without floaties. He is doing great. He can swim...underwater....the length of the pool.
Another great shot of Alex...jumping into the pool.

kaleb is jumping in. He is also doing great....but he still needs to work on swimming with big arms and not doggie paddle.
Her is Kaleb's splash!!!! That was great!!!
We took this picture because the flowers on the back wall are in full bloom and they smell so good that if we have the back door open we can smell them almost all the way upstairs. At night it looks like we have snow on our back wall.

These boys were sneaking snacks in the kitchen and I caught them!!! don't they look guilty!!!

Here is Alex dancing at the Sock Hop! It is so cute! The DJ called all the parents with cameras to come to the front of the stage, so that we could take pictures and it was so cute because Alex is "riding the pony" like the DJ told them to do and then she blows me a kiss up on stage.
